I think summer is the best time to experiment with fresh salsas. The obvious choices are fresh herbs and nice fruits or tomatoes that are abundant in the summer. I am lucky to have plenty of fresh herbs literally in my backyard. We have fresh thyme, rosemary, parsley, cilantro, basil, sage, dill, and chives. I am trying to take advantage of these while I can!
